No, I did mine prior to seeing the movie script, not sure if it's been done before, it might have.

Miller did it in the big ninja story 182- 190. It works.

I like the movie for lots of reasons, but I think he tried way too hard to make it a film about his own father and his relationship to him. He tried too hard. It's the Hulk. Hulk Smash!

HOW COOL WAS L.A. CONFIDENTIAL (BOOK & FILM)?
FILM: Very until the last scene.
BOOK: Love it.

The last scene of the film was in clear defiance to the actual events. It should have ended in the trailer park when Exley holds up his badge. Russel Crowe dead.
